A lot of you email, and ask us... How did Prairie Talk begin?
Well, it all began late in the last century when Shane and I both worked on the hit TV show
, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” We both found out that we both were watching LHOTP. At the time, I was working nights. So, I would wake up at noon when Little House was coming on. I started watching it everyday. Shane was waking up everyday late too. I don’t know why, but he was. Anyway's, we got to talking about Little House, and came up with the idea of doing a show completely about Little House on the Prairie. We thought it was hilarious, and completely ridiculous that two guys would do a show about Little House. Three months passed, and nothing was happening. Prairie Talk was almost just another idea going nowhere. I didn’t let the idea go, I called up Shane, and one month later we were taping our "Pilot" Episode. That same weekend we shot six more episodes. We went on to shoot a total of 19 completed episodes. We aired the show throughout the Los Angeles area for many years, and...
NOW IT IS FINALLY AVAILABLE ON DVD,
so our fans can now enjoy Prairie Talk at home, and outside the greater Los Angeles area.
With this show we wanted to have fun with it. Who wants to watch a couple of guys spew out boring stats, and opinions? We wanted to keep it fresh and interesting, and approach the subjects of Little House differently. We wanted this show to be an interesting background for getting the facts of Little House out there to the masses.
If you are wondering if our site, PrairietalkTV.com, has any affiliation with the website, Prarietalk.com....There is no connection. Prairietalk.com is a fan based web forum, and it is a great place to go meet and chat with other LHOTP fans.
Thanks for checking out the latest history about our little show, PRAIRIETALKTV.com.
